Digital Restoration
Ril can digitally restore damaged photos for you. The work is done from scanned copies of the image you want restored. The hourly rate is $20 an hour.
Check below for the levels of restorations and approximate hours they require.
Light photo restoration includes the following:
- Elimination of minor cracks, specks and scratches on clothes and background.
- Correction of saturation and brightness, restoration of correct background.
- Usually takes 1 to 3 hours of work
Medium photo restoration includes the following:
- Elimination of multiple cracks, specks and scratches on clothes, background and face (except critical elements like eyes and face contour).
- Elimination of stains, smears and traces of writing tools.
- Correction of brightness, saturation and contrast of the original image, restoration of simple backgrounds.
- Usually takes 4 to 6 hours of restoration
Heavy photo restoration implies the following scope of work:
- Elimination of major cracks, specks and scratches on clothes, background and faces.
- Elimination of stains, smears and traces of writing tools.
- Restoration of lost fragments of the image.
- Correction of brightness, saturation and contrast of the original image, background restoration.
- Extensive restoration that can take over 6 hours to accomplish and requires an estimate upon inspection of the photo.
Photos that are too damaged to be restored and look realistic as a photo, can be turned into a paintography.We will bring your precious memories back to life!
